We are in a time of rapid change. Technology has changed the way we create, share, consume and interact with information. Most of our younger generation embrace this shift easily, adopting and leveraging technology throughout their daily lives.
Many educators are not so persuaded as to the benefits of technology in their classrooms. They may see technology as a distraction or, worse yet, dangerous. Others simply prefer to continue teaching as they have always done.
What about teachers who do not use technology in their classrooms? Can they continue to be "good" teachers without embracing technology or does serving students well in the 21st century demand for teachers to use technology for teaching and learning?
